Hang In There…

Guh, it’s 6:40 and I’m still only like halfway done…

I promise I’ll get the comic up tomorrow. Er…later today.

I’d actually like to know, would you guys like to see the uncolored comic on time and finished later, or wait for it to be entirely finished, in case this kind of thing happens again?

Just Wanted to Mention…

I got a new computer! It’s very nice. On a not-entirely-unrelated matter, it’s my birthday today.

Hey Look an Extras Page!

Figure I’ve got enough content to warrant one now.  nngh, but it still looks so bare!  I’ll need all your help to fill it with fanart and guest comics, okay?  I mean, if you want too…

I would have done Putting the WEB in WEBCOMIC as a gallery instead of just a link to the blog post, but for some reason the gallery plugin I use can only expand to the height of the screen, making the pages too small for many computers, including mine.  At least this way people will be able to post comments on it I guess.

As for the next Ask the Cast comic I am totally failing at reducing the quality.  Ugh.  Expect something similar to the Estrangel “Trailer”.  I’m definitely gonna have to try harder for the actual storyline.  Man, who knew that spending less effort than you’re used to on something could be so GOSH DARN HARD.  >:/

Putting the WEB in WEBCOMIC

So, for one of my classes we had to make a three-page rhetorical comic.  I decided to make mine about, if you already know how to make a comic, how to actually put it online as a webcomic.  It breaks it down in the way that I’ve come to understand, and in a way that would have been very useful for when I first wanted to start a webcomic.  I’m sure there’s a lot more to be said, but I put in as much as I could fit, and it’s only meant to be a brief overview anyway.  I hope you find it helpful and/or interesting.

Didja Miss Me?

Heeeeeeey guys, sorry I took so long.  Unfortunately I caught a terrible illness that rendered me unable to work on the comic.  An illness called procrastination.

But anyway I’m back in the swing of things and soon I’ll be able to finally put up the last freaking page of the storyline.  I wish it could be as epic as you all deserve for the long wait, but of course it’s not.  I got so frustrated making it because I realized that I really do not like using my tablet very much.  Somehow it takes all the fun out of drawing.  But I guess it’s my fault for being so nitpicky.  I want to focus on getting the story across, rather than putting so much effort into the art, so I’m gonna try and do exactly that for the next arc.  Oh, but before that, there’ll be a couple “Ask the Cast”s (one’s mine, the other is the very first reader submitted question), and finally a special three page comic I made for one of my classes last term.  It’ll give me a little extra time to get the next storyline going.

So, yeah, see you next Sunday when the comic resumes!  If any of you are still here, that is…
